The concert will take place at The County Ground on Sunday 3rd June. The fully reserved seated concert will give thousands of fans the opportunity to dance and sing along to his much-loved songs.
Elton John said "Five years ago I played the County Ground and it was a fabulous event - a warm summer evening and a great Taunton crowd, who certainly knew how to have fun.
Last October I played my 3000th live concert, and I am still as excited about playing live as I was in 1969 when my career began - in fact probably more so.
So I hope you will all come back to the County Ground in June and we can carry on with the party!"
Elton will return to the County Ground for the first time since 2006, when he performed to a sold out audience including Ian Botham.
As one of the greatest and most successful live artists, his spectacular stage show continues to leave the competition standing! Elton will perform over two hours of hits from an incredible back catalogue, including classics such as 'Bennie and the Jets', 'Crocodile Rock' and 'Your Song'.
