The Corner House Hotel, in the heart of the Somerset county town of Taunton, is a the first of a new breed of hotel for the 21st Century.

A new Wireless Internet, or ‘WiFi’ system at the Corner House, provided by Swisscom Eurospot, allows guests high speed broadband access to the Internet via their laptop or PDA without any need to plug into a wall socket.

This service means that guests staying at the Corner House have the freedom to move throughout the hotel and maintain a high speed connection to the Internet, allowing them to download data, update software, e-mail information or access their corporate networks from the comfort of their bedroom, a meeting room, or even from the bar!

All reservations must be confirmed with a credit card number or by writing/e-mail directly to the hotel within 7 days of the initial telephone reservation. We reserve the right to charge in full for any confirmed reservations not taken up and/or to cancel without notice any unconfirmed reservations. Payment must be in full on departure unless prior credit arrangements have been confirmed in writing. Rooms are not available for occupation until after 3.00pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11.00am on the day of departure. Late departures will be charged at the full daily rate. We accept Access. Visa, Cheques up to the value for the supporting guarantee card, 1 cheque per transaction, sterling travellers cheques and British currency.
